AGAVE BLANCO

A floral and fruit forward agave spirit distilled from 100% Blue Agave nectar. Agave Blanco is a less traditional take on tequila resulting in a spirit that is more drinkable and accessible to non-tequila drinkers. We call it Agave Spirit because to be called Tequila, by law, it must be distilled in Jalisco, Mexico and we distill ours right here at 115 Broadway.

A nose of dry white wine, apple blossom, and white pepper. The palate is reminiscent of green fruit, honeysuckle. The colors on the label are in honor of the flag that flew over the Alamo during the famous battle. The defenders were fighting for the 1824 Mexican Constitution that gave women the right to vote and hold land and Texians the right to self govern.

REPOSADO

Aged in in our own used whiskey barrels, the Reposado is the older mature brother of the Agave Blanco. The nose is of toasted pecans and maple pancakes with tasting notes of apple blossom, peach and prickly pear, it finishes with with a warm caramel, nutmeg, cinnamon and clove, the Reposado is a sipping Agave Spirit, but also great in a top shelf margarita or ranch water. Private Reserve Straight Bourbon Whiskey

Samuel Maverick Private Reserve Straight Bourbon Whiskey is a grain-to-glass whiskey produced completely in-house using select Texas-grown corn, rye, and barley and aged on-site in the vaults below the distillery located in the historic Lockwood National Bank building steps from the Alamo. Just seven barrels of the four-year-old reserve bourbon were bottled for this small-batch limited release. This premium hand-crafted straight bourbon is the first by Maverick Whiskey Distillery that is produced fully in-house. Glowing rich amber in color, Samuel Maverick Private Reserve Straight Bourbon Whiskey boasts deep aromas of clover-scented honey, Lockhart barbecue, and roasted Hill Country pecans. It’s a full-bodied bourbon with velvety texture and front-forward warm vanilla and subdued caramel flavors from Texas sweet corn and Edwards Aquifer water which grab the palate with each sip. Maverick Malthouse Rye brings out a balanced bitter-sweet chocolate flavors that melt into subtle clove and nutmeg of North Texas malted barley. Samuel Maverick Private Reserve is a straight bourbon to be savored with a rich honey and pepper finish which lingers with a wisp of smoke from the barrels, or maybe from the spirits of the Alamo.

Samuel Maverick Barrel Aged DRY Gin

Samuel Maverick Barrel Aged Gin begins with notes of bright citrus and tart green apple followed by floral accents of blossoming laurel, spring bluebonnet, juniper and rosemary. The finish lingers with a mild heat, faint burnt sugar and a wisp of whiskey. Our gin is made with seventeen botanicals including Maverick pecans, Texas Valley ruby red grapefruit, Mexican Mint Marigold and traditional juniper.

This harvest of Barrel Aged Gin was aged two years in the subterranean historic Lockwood Bank Vault under our distillery Maverick Distilling Rye Whiskey barrels, and the end result is nothing short of a delicious surprise for the taste buds that makes this a great sipping gin on its own, as well as a good addition to a cocktail such as a Lavender Bees Knees. The flavor of our Samuel Maverick Barrel Aged Gin has been compared by some to that of a creamsicle for its hints of vanilla and orange.

STRAIGHT BOURBON WHISKEY

Our Texas Straight Bourbon Whiskey is distilled from a mash of Texas-grown Corn and Rye. Aged a minimum of 2 years in new Charred White Oak Barrels, this Bourbon is proofed to 88 (44% alcohol by volume) using Reverse Osmosis filtered water so that it sips nicely neat yet holds up on-the-rocks or in your favorite Whiskey cocktail. Our Bourbon is non-chill filtered ensuring the true bold flavor of this Texas Whiskey.

The nose is very sweet with notes of Crème Brûlée, caramel, and stone fruit. Charred oak is prevalent as well. The palate is delightfully smooth with notes of sweet black tea, cola, and cinnamon. The finish, while silky, has the peppery bite of Rye and a touch of menthol. Great served neat in a Glencairn or in a nice Old Fashioned complete with Luxardo Cherry.

BARREL PROOF STRAIGHT BOURBON WHISKEY

The Samuel Maverick Barrel Proof Straight Bourbon Whiskey is distilled from a mash of 72% Texas-grown corn, 18% rye, and 10% malted barley. It is aged a minimum of two years in new charred White Oak barrels. The Texas Barrel Proof Straight Bourbon Whiskey is non-chill filtered and hand-bottled at barrel proof (57% alcohol by volume / 114 proof) ensuring the true, bold flavor of this Texas bourbon. Samuel Maverick Barrel Proof Straight Bourbon Whiskey is produced by skillfully selecting the best barrels of Certified Texas Whiskey that are brought in from a Texas distillery. Once aged, the distiller expertly blends the right barrels to bring out the sweet caramel flavors balanced with just the right pop of spice. The charred oak gives the nose a deep earthiness with notes of vanilla and caramel. The palate is delightfully smooth with notes of sweet caramel, cola, and spices. The finish, while silky, has the peppery bite of rye and a touch of mint. Enjoy the best served neat or with one large ice cube in a Glencairn.

TEXAS DRY GIN

A traditional dry gin with a Texas twist, made using locally grown rosemary, pecans, bay laurel, Mexican mint marigold, and fresh Valley grapefruit zest, along with traditional gin botanicals like common juniper berries and coriander. The nose is deep and complex with notes of resinous juniper, honeysuckle, lavender, lemongrass, and baking spice. The palate is silky smooth with rosemary and juniper up front followed by citrus rind and a pleasant piquancy. The finish is long with notes of menthol and peppercorn. A perfect martini gin.

STRAIGHT RYE WHISKEY

Our Straight Rye Whiskey is a true Texas Rye, distilled from Texas-grown Wren’s Abruzzi Rye, Yellow Corn, and malted Barley. Our Rye has a nose of banana pudding, charred oak, clove and bruléed sugar. The pallet is silky with notes of biscut, cardamon, and baking spice. The finish is herbal with cool menthol lingering on the tongue, encouraging another sip. Try it in a Manhattan!
